Position: Software Engineer III

Duties: Guide small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements; translate requirements into technical solutions; research and identify alternative solutions; determine needed solution based on return on investment and value add to the business; gather requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); write and develop code; conduct unit testing; communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborate with project team and cross functional teams; identify areas of opportunity; interpret information and identify a solution; ensure solution is sustainable across implementation and use; troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes; and ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply expertise to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others. Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs. Build commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Identify business needs and determine and carry out the necessary processes and practices. Monitor progress and results. Recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.




Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using C# or Java. Experience coding in one of the following object-oriented programming languages: C#, Python, or Java. Experience testing and troubleshooting using one of the following frameworks: NUnit, JUnit, Selenium, Jira, or Rally. Experience coding using one of the following frameworks: .Net, JVM, Cocoa, or Microsoft Azure. Experience using program metrics and reporting and logging tools and processes. Experience with secure SDL frameworks, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tools, and Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) tools. Experience with defect management and troubleshooting using defect reporting, regression testing, root cause analysis, and root cause corrective action. Experience conducting maintenance procedures for applications independently. Experience performing corrective, adaptive, or perfective maintenance and re-engineering activities. Experience analyzing application logs, maintenance activity data, performance data, and providing analysis that translates into actionable items. Experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments using Kubernetes. Experience building cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure and troubleshooting applications running within Kubernetes.
