We are currently seeking a Warranty Analyst to oversee warranty claims from dealers and PDC/Port, manage technical and financial settlements, and assist in identifying product quality issues. Monthly responsibilities include creating and distributing warranty claim reports, ensuring adherence to warranty targets, and providing supervision in the absence of the Warranty Supervisor or QA Department Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Warranty Claims:
Manage dealer warranty claims, coordinating with suppliers, Finance, Accessory Supply, QA, and affiliates.
Establish procedures to streamline Dealer Claim Resolution and financial recovery plans.
Data Management and Analysis:
Update claim data for public products, optimize performance analytics, and supervise warranty analysis across departments.
Monitoring Warranty Activities:
Monitor Field & PDC/Port warranty activities to ensure KPI targets and financial recovery plans for active accessory programs.
Participate in program kick-off meetings to define claim processes and provide accurate data and reports.
Warranty Reports and Analysis:
Create weekly and monthly warranty reports, detailing risk classification, financial exposure, part performance trends, and recovery status.
Monitor warranty claims across all programs, collaborating with internal departments and QA engineers.
Program Risk Assessment:
Assess dealer warranty activity for program risks, ensuring compliance with all Company warranty obligations.
Review warranty expectations for newly planned accessories, reporting on the status of warranty recovery.
Key Performance Indicators:
Optimize the claim database for dealer warranty claim analysis.
Review all warranty claims, generate status reports, and coordinate settlements and payments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
4-6 years of professional-level experience in cost control and warranty analysis, preferably in the automobile industry.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, Access, SQL, or programming languages for scalable database applications.
