Location: warrensburg, Missouri
Under the general supervision of the Planned Maintenance Supervisor, HVAC III Technician, or HVAC II Technician, perform general maintenance work in the operation and repair of assigned equipment. Perform repair work on fan coil units and ventilation fans. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Under the general supervision of the Planned Maintenance Supervisor, HVACIII Technician, or HVACII Technician, perform general maintenance work in the operation and repair of assigned equipment, to include:-50%
Operate, inspect, and log temperatures, fluid pressures, operating parameters, and readings of all assigned equipment.
Make adjustments on machinery.
Start and/or stop machinery, as directed.
Service and maintain electric motors, shaft bearings, gear reducers, compressors, lube or oil gears, spindles, belts, blowers, and filters.
Clean heating and cooling coils, cooling tower basins, and air intake grills.
Inspect service and support equipment for wear and makes adjustments as needed to correct misalignments.
Perform repair work on fan coil units and ventilation fans, to include: 30%
Service filters, belts, switches, single phase motors, change oil, and replace and/or clean couplings.
Respond to temperature-related trouble calls in student and University areas and/or replace knobs on controls.
Replace fuses, breakers, change single phase motors, blowers, bearings, fan coil units, check and adjust air conditioning and heating equipment and devices, fan coils, install light bulbs, tubes or fixtures.
Make rounds and take readings of boilers and domestic water systems as well as closed loop systems.

Education:
Minimum six months journey-level experience in HVAC service, operations, and/or preventive maintenance in an industrial or commercial setting.
