Job Description:

As the Product & Service Development Engineer I - Infotainment, you will be responsible for the integration of new features and functions into our products, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction. You will execute US-specific validation for assigned components and feature sets. You will identify, communicate, and prioritize top issues to project management and functional owners. You will synchronize, agree and confirm resolution implementation according to project milestones to ensure product quality and perform validation activities for infotainment-functions including local, weekend and overnight test drive events with engineering colleagues and process partners.

You will report project status and test results to BMW engineering departments using standard BMW reporting tools while constantly dealing with a high complexity of current and future vehicles, new technologies and changing suppliers. You will negotiate and align with BMW headquarters to ensure an on-time integration of US-specific characteristics into newly developed functions.

Relocation is available for this position.

In support of BMW of North America's business objectives, this position requires regular attendance at a BMW office with remote work capability (hybrid).

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

  • Valid US driver's license.

  • Available for overnight business travel.

Preferences:


  • 1-2 years in engineering field.

  • Experience working in BMW development.

  • BMW B1, B2, and E1 license.

Additional Skills:


  • Self-motivated.

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).

  • Able to work under pressure and with compressed timelines.

  • Able to adapt and willing to continually learn new technologies and concepts.

  • Team-oriented mindset.

  • Highly analytical.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive technologies with focus on BMW highly preferred.

The pay range for this role is: $57,900.00 - 95,500.00.

The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
