POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for conducting American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR training courses.
JOB LOCATION:Various locations in the Des Moines Metro
HOURLY RATE: $19.00-$22.50
HOURS/DAYS SCHEDULE:Weekday evenings and/or Weekends; number of hours varies based on class schedule and your availability. Minimum of two courses a year, with more hours available for candidates if wanting.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: November 18, 2024 - Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepare training site and materials for each courseConduct required training courses according to American Red Cross standardsSubmit completion record to SupervisorCommunicate participant feedback to Supervisor as necessaryNotify Supervisor of any training supply needs Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
