The Retirement Project Associate is responsible for supporting the successful intake, prioritization, planning, and execution of retirement projects and initiatives. This position will act as a partner to the retirement management committee in road mapping and aligning priorities with organizational goals, while also being hands-on in developing tools, templates, and frameworks to ensure seamless project execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Retirement MC to develop and maintain a project portfolio in alignment with the organization's strategic priorities.
Facilitate the intake, categorization, and prioritization of retirement projects and initiatives.
Ensure data is updated and available for portfolio leader's assessments.
Assist in documenting project scope and objectives and documenting project plans to monitor and track progress.
Maintain retail project reporting in retail tool of choice.
Provide project support as needed - note taking, meeting scheduling or follow up on action items.
Partner with Retirement Chief of Staff to ensure projects are on track and are aligned to organizational priorities.
Establish and maintain regular reporting and dashboards on project progress, outcomes, and performance.
Provide process improvement recommendations to streamline Retirement project execution and operations.
Build and develop relationships at various levels for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness across functions.
Assist in preparing communication materials to enhance management and the execution of retirement business strategies.
Experience and Education Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree; in lieu of degree 3+ years of relevant experience
2+ years of professional work experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on cross-functional communication.
Willingness to pivot when enterprise priorities shift
Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks without supervision
Active listener, diplomatic and able to challenge the status quo, respectfully
Appropriate sense of urgency with high level of personal accountability
Microsoft: Excel, PPT, WORD, Teams
Other Requirements
Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
Regular and punctual attendance
Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
