Job Description:




The Graduate Enrollment Operations Assistant is an integral member of the Graduate Admissions team. They are responsible for assisting the Associate Director with operational functions for all graduate programs. The candidate must have exceptional customer service and organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills; and the desire to work closely with a diverse student population. Processing, attention to detail and strong technological skills are significant functions of this position. This is an in-person position.





  • Provide customer support by: Answering emails or phone calls regarding questions, concerns or requests; helping walk in students when necessary.

  • Managing initial application file review process

  • Documentation and test score verification processing

  • Uploading documents electronically to students' applications

  • Perform data processing as assigned by Associate Director or other departmental staff

  • Ordering and maintaining of office supplies and recruitment materials

  • Other duties as assigned






Requirements:





  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Prior knowledge of Slate CRM preferred

  • 2+ years professional experience with a strong customer service orientation, preferably in a higher education setting

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, required.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • General working knowledge and demonstrated use of an organizational database is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining a friendly and calm demeanor.

  • Proven attention to detail and methods for ensuring accuracy.

  • Ability to learn quickly and understand how each process is connected to the larger goals of the office and the University.

  • Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
