Tile/Flooring Project Engineer



Location: Scripps Ranch, CA 92131


Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm


Pay: $70,000 - $95,000 DOE

An industry leading general contractor and flooring specialist is seeking a Tile/Flooring Project Engineer to join their team.



Job Duties:



• Assist Project PM with all tile/flooring scope related items.


• Read and understand plans and specs, RFIs, material orders, etc


• Maintain a positive relationship with all customers and field employees.


• Have an exceptional eye for details


• Perform quality control duties, means and methods for tile/flooring.


• Poses great leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, motivate others


• while maintaining effective relationships with customers by meeting or exceeding their requirements and


• expectations.


• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to prioritize work assignments.


• Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specs, logistics, materials, equipment, submittals and other requirements.



Requirements:



• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Tile and Flooring to be considered


• Must have knowledge of the tile industry and supervisory experience


• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle check


• Valid CA driver's license and clean record


• Bilingual is a plus but not necessary


• Knowledge of OSHA standards


• Be able to pass a background check through the DOJ- this is required by our clients


• Basic understanding of Microsoft office, Bluebeam, Procore and general computer skills
