Junior Accountant


Position Details


This is an entry-level role as a Junior Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our Accounting and Finance teams.


• Assists Accountants with all financial operations.


• Data Entry for Accounts Payable


• Enters financial transactions into internal databases.


• Checks data and spreadsheets for accuracy.


• Maintains digital and physical financial records.


• Collaborates with other members of the Accounting and Finance teams in a professional and productive manner.


• Reviews and files documents.


• Assists and participates in quarterly and annual audits.


• Attention to detail.


• Willingness to learn from real world business practices.


• Other duties as assigned.


Skills/Qualifications Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or a related major is required.
* Familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Works well independently and with a group.
* Has excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.
* Excellent math skills and attention-to-detail with ability to spot numerical errors.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook).
