Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9)



Department/Organization: 206101 - Dean's Office-Culverhouse College of Business



Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm



Job Summary: The Culverhouse LEAD and Academic Development Program Director supports and oversees the growth, development, and innovation of the LEAD Personal and Professional Development Program. Contributes to the strategic direction and policy formation of the LEAD program. Assists in budgeting and managing finances for the LEAD program. Leads curriculum development and continuous improvement for the professional development course sequence. Develops strategies to enhance student engagement within the LEAD program. Manages all course-related technology platforms. Manages and executes major and ongoing curricular reviews, revisions, and additions. Manages the academic assurance of learning (AoL) assessment and accreditation activities.



Additional Department Summary: Works in the Office of Undergraduate and International Programs within the Culverhouse College of Business and will report to the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Academic Programs and Retention.



Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of experience.



Skills and Knowledge: Self-starter. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective team player capable of working independently but within the context and guidance of unit leadership. Ability to independently plan, organize, and execute on all key aspects of the role. Excellent communication skills. Computer and systems-thinking proficiency, including ability to (or ability to learn how to) create surveys in Qualtrics and analyze that data using tools such as Excel or SPSS.



Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in education (or related field) with a focus on higher education administration or related area. Two (2) years of work experience in college or university administration (academic advising, curriculum development, management, and assessment, registrar's office, or related experience). Experience with curriculum management software (CIM).
