Our recruiting firm is partnering with a Health Insurance Provider in Coral Gables, to find them a Senior Staff Accountant. The organization is looking for someone with a mix of experience handling accounting and analysis.
The ideal salary for this position is between $85k-$100k + bonus. The company also offers an excellent benefits package.
Job Responsibilities:
Full-cycle accounting functions including the hands-on preparation of monthly financials
Handling fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals
Balance sheet reconciliations and meet deadlines
Manage daily cash balances and reports
Support month-end, year-end close and audit process
Analyze financials to make recommendations to streamline processes and procedures
Qualifications:
5+ years of Accounting experience
Mixed knowledge between accounting and financial analysis
Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot) required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with an Accounting concentration is required
Experience with ERP (Great Plains is a plus)
Commute comfortably to office in Coral Gables
