Position Overview: Join us as our next Principal Product Manager and make a significant impact on the future of application delivery. We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience to lead A10's Application Delivery product lines and solutions, including ADC, SSLi, and DNS.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the development, deployment, and operations of Application Delivery services for large service providers, web scalers, or enterprises
Serve as a product evangelist, promoting your products and solutions to A10 customers, channels, sales, and marketing, while collaborating with the engineering team to define and deliver product roadmaps
Establish authority over the technical product roadmap and execution for the application delivery product lines
Lead customer engagements by presenting A10's application delivery products and solutions
Collaborate with field personnel to understand customer requirements, use cases, and the end-user journey, and communicate these details to engineering (Dev/QA) via PRDs and Jira requests
Work with solutions architects and technical product marketing to create technical solution briefs and collateral to empower sales and field engineers
Collaborate closely with product marketing and sales operations to launch products and solutions, facilitating customer adoption
Drive product priorities, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies
Develop both organic and inorganic product roadmaps with a 1- to 2-year outlook
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 10 years of experience in Networking and Security Technologies
Prior experience in a technical role, including engineering, solution architecture, QA, support, or technical marketing
Domain expertise in L4-L7 networking, particularly in data center networking, application delivery controllers (ADC), DNS, and SSL cryptography
Experience with security, web application firewalls, public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and private cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, RedHat OpenShift) is a plus
Ability to simplify complex tasks and translate those simplifications into actionable insights for complex products
