Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Oversee adherence to shipping processes for domestic and international shipments
Maintain shipping staff performance through training, monitoring, coaching, and performance management
Conduct regular audits and implement preventative maintenance protocols to ensure facility and equipment integrity
Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and inquiries
Conduct short- and mid-term capacity planning to align labor and equipment resources with demand
Recruit, select, orient, and train employees to meet shipping staffing needs
Monitor shipping workflow indicators and address exceptions proactively
Troubleshoot complex inventory and shipping errors, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Guide and manage the packing and shipping process to ensure timely delivery to customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote efficient workflows and positive working relationships
Conduct training for employees on safety, quality, business processes, and HR policies
Interface with the Sales Administration Team to obtain shipping instructions
Ensure trade compliance
Requirements:
AA degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of leadership experience in OEM volume shipping
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with warehouse management systems
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Familiarity with operating and maintaining various warehouse material handling equipment
Experience in trade compliance
Must be on-site at A10 San Jose HQ five days a week and available to work weekends or as needed
Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset
Hands-on approach, actively working with staff in day-to-day operations
Ability to lift approximately 40-50 lbs periodically
Desired Skills:
Experience with Oracle ERP system is preferred
