Job Description:



Our client is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) to provide coordinated patient care to adult patients requiring cath lab service including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes pre-procedure patient preparation, post-procedure recovery and emergency interventions. The tech must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.



Qualifications:

• Graduate of a cardiovascular technology program required


• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Technologist, Radiography-Cardiovascular Interventional [RT(R)(CI)] or Registered Technologist, Radiography- Vascular-Interventional [RT(R)(VI)] credential required


• Training and demonstrated competence in cardiac rhythm/arrhythmia recognition.


• Basic Life Support


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Job Responsibilities:

• Work within the Cardiology procedural space for Heart Rhythm Services


• Focused on the electrical conduction side of the heart


• Provides treatments/interventions for any arrhythmia-based diagnosis


• Electrophysiology lab procedures:




• Implantable cardiac device implants


• Low to Moderate risk explants


• Ablations within our 3 EP Labs




• Handle hybrid OR for high-risk cases, including high-risk lead extraction


• Sub roles include scrub, circulator, recorder, and stimulator
