WHAT YOU’LL DO


As a Field Engineer, you will lead projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with all onsite teams, including Nanolumens, 3PL, GC, T-Mobile, and Logistics. You will be the primary on-site point of contact for T-Mobile, handling all support and onsite needs, and ensuring the successful installation and documentation of all SageNet and Nanolumens equipment.


Major duties and responsibilities:



  • Lead the on-site installation project, owning end-to-end leadership responsibilities.

  • Coordinate with all onsite teams (Nanolumens, 3PL, GC, TMO, and Logistics) and ensure teams are trained on the appropriate handling of all equipment.

  • Manage pre-install coordination with Nanolumens and 3PL regarding start times.

  • Serve as the primary on-site communicator to T-Mobile for support and onsite needs.

  • Handle fixture, electrical, and LV communications to applicable parties.

  • Install  SageNet and Nanolumens equipment in the customer provided data rack.

  • Document site conditions upon arrival for install.

  • Capture and report all necessary site conditions and installation scope.

  • Approve installation execution and address any install issues requiring repair.

  • Manage spare part recovery.

  • Recap installation to all applicable parties.

  • Provide final approval when Nanolumens, 3PL, and Logistics have completed all necessary scope.

  • Designate a primary SageNet employee responsible for all SageNet responsibilities if multiple employees are onsite.




WHO YOU ARE


Key Qualifications



  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage projects from start to finish.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills with various onsite teams.

  • Experience in handling fixture, electrical, and LV communications.

  • Experience installing rack mountable equipment and making documented connections

  • Experience with A/V Installations a plus

  • Proficiency in documenting and reporting site conditions and installation scope.

  • Ability to manage spare part recovery and installation recapping.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to communicate 


 


WHERE YOU’LL WORK



  • Hybrid work environment

  • Extensive Travel Required

  • Installations will be in T-Mobile Retail Stores

  • Some overnight installations may be required


 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, crawl, and work on a ladder.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools.

  • Able to lift 40 pounds.
