Northern California's established heavy civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our Accounting Department. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will interface between company users, the IT department and software vendors to provide support across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate would bring experience with CMiC (or similar ERP), analytic skills, troubleshooting proprietary programming experience and a broad knowledge of software configurations.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Manage the CMiC relationship
Identify and implement unused CMiC functionality and CMiC third party software partners to improve efficiency and streamline existing processes
Coordinate with 3rd party dbas and the IT department to ensure peak performance and security of CMiC infrastructure
Plan and test CMiC patches and upgrades
Report and track software issues and resolutions.
Lead team of CMiC super users with technology deployments in the department and assist in providing end user training on proper use of the technology.
Document, design and test custom Jasper reports and business intelligence queries.
Develop, test and integrate custom software programming requests.
Participate in webinars and user group conferences to ensure software capabilities are optimized.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance or related field.
10+ years experience with CMiC is preferred. Similar ERP software experience will be considered (Viewpoint, Sage).
Strong written and verbal skills, able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levels.
Able to effectively multi-task and proactively problem solve in a dynamic setting.
