As an Equipment Coordinator, you will work closely with our Equipment Sales team, technicians, vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery and installation of capital equipment. The equipment coordinator is responsible for creating work orders, scheduling, and dispatching technicians for equipment installation and warranty repairs. This position handles a variety of responsibilities from identifying tech availability at point of the sale to ensuring the delivery and installation at end of sale. This position is also responsible for the billing of small equipment repairs.
Responsibilities
Review equipment orders for completeness, ensuring they include customer signature, terms, etc.
Approve purchase orders to be sent to the vendor and ensure that all needs are communicated
Ship equipment and coordinate installations with customers and technicians
Order warranty parts in relation to newly purchased equipment
Work closely with technicians to ensure timely scheduling, payments of services, and proper documentations are on file
Identify technician availability
Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, vendors, and sales team.
Create small equipment repair estimates and communicate approvals/declines to vendors
Bill for small equipment repairs
Handles email and call inquiries for service technicians
Answers general questions from customers about equipment and service.
Reroutes calls as necessary to the correct departments
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
2+ years of related experience.
Dental industry experience strongly preferred.
High School education required
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong Computer skills:
Experience with Word, Excel and Salesforce preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and can effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms
Attentive, adaptable, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work in a timely manner
Must be solution driven, both independently and as part of a team
Excellent follow up skills, must be empathetic, patient, courteous and be able to anticipate the customer’s needs
