As a School-Based Therapist on LifeWorks School-Based Therapy team (a subsidiary of Nystrom & Associates), you will have the opportunity to implement high-quality, culturally-sensitive mental health services to children and adolescents in the school setting. In this role, youll have the opportunity to:
Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to children, adolescents and their families in a school settingAssist children, adolescents and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goalsDesign and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the childs needsWork collaboratively with the school district, school personnel divisions, and other community-based agenciesProvide psychoeducation to school staffDesign and implement therapeutic groups for studentsReceive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units
