As a member of the Americas Regional HR Team, the Director, Total Rewards will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Compensation & Benefit programs across PerkinElmer's US, Canada, and Latin America geographies. The incumbent will work with Global Business Line Leaders (GBL)and Global Support Services (GSS) Leadership at the direction of the Americas HR Regional Leader to identify compensation programs and solutions that drive the business and ensure market competitiveness. To be successful in the role, this leader will be adaptable to change and bring a hands-on problem-solving mindset to the team.

Compensation:


  • Design, implement, and manage the compensation strategy for the Americas region, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's global strategy.

  • Conduct annual compensation benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive pay structures.

  • Manage the annual merit increase, bonus, and incentive compensation processes.

  • Partner with global compensation teams to ensure alignment across regions and maintain consistency with corporate policies.

  • Advise leadership on executive compensation, salary ranges, and compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.

  • Ensure all compensation programs comply with local, state, and federal laws, including FLSA, EEO, and other labor regulations.

Benefits:


  • Lead the design and management of benefits programs in the Americas, including health and wellness plans, retirement programs, insurance, and other employee benefits.

  • Analyze current benefits offerings and make recommendations for improvements or cost-saving opportunities without compromising employee satisfaction.

  • Ensure benefits plans comply with local, state, and federal laws, including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.

  • Collaborate with benefits providers to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.

  • Oversee employee communication and education around compensation and benefits programs to ensure understanding and maximize participation.

Leadership & Collaboration:


  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure the alignment of compensation and benefits with broader business goals.

  • Provide compensation and benefits insights to support talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning strategies.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in compensation and benefits, offering strategic counsel to senior leadership.

Compliance & Reporting:


  • Ensure compliance with all compensation and benefits-related laws and regulations across the Americas region.

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on the effectiveness, cost, and impact of compensation and benefits programs.

  • Lead internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits to ensure accurate and compliant administration.

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience overseeing compensation and benefits across the Americas region, including U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations in the Americas.

  • Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency with compensation and benefits management software and tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, or equivalent).

  • Able to navigate, lead and manage within a highly matrix environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

  • Demonstrate a strong customer mindset. Translate C&B skills into tangible solutions that meet business needs.

  • This individual must possess judgement & decision-making skills that factor in business needs, external and internal data resources as well as financial considerations.

The annualcompensation range for this full-time position is $(150,000) to $(200,000). The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
