Reporting to the Director of Admission, the Admission Counselor will focus
on engagement in a range of on- and off-campus admissions and recruitment activities designed to
present the Clark University undergraduate educational experience to prospective students, their
parents, counselors, and alumni; perform counselor-of-the-day duties on a regularly scheduled basis.
The Admission Counselor will analyze and review applications to the University's undergraduate
program in a manner consistent with institutional policies and priorities.
In addition to regular recruitment activities, the Admission Counselor will have an Access and Inclusion focus, and will be
responsible for liaising with key Clark University offices, staff, and faculty to ensure that Clark provides
an inclusive and supportive admission and transition experience for traditionally under-represented and
underserved students. Along with the Director, they will act as a liaison between Clark University admissions
and off campus partners including Community Based Organizations, High Schools and college access
programs, building awareness of and connections to the programs and activities that promote access,
inclusion and success for students from under-represented and underserved populations. The Admission Counselor will also help coordinate and execute Expedition Clark, Clark's Access and Inclusion Overnight program.
