What You Will Contribute:
We are hiring an Electronic Technician in our Racine facility to help with the increasing workload in the department. This position is a first shift position (7am-3:30pm) in our very clean and air-conditioned facility.
Job Duties
Soldering through hole and surface mount components. Some mechanical assembly and wiring may also be needed
Provide skilled technical assistance to engineers and other departments in the development of electronic products. The person must follow schematics, board layouts and assembly diagrams so the model or prototype will closely resemble documentation provided.
Calibrating, testing, evaluating, and documenting Badger Meter products
Operation of sophisticated instruments such as multimeters, capacitance meters, digital oscilloscopes, wave generators, and recording instruments
Support manufacturing in upgrades and analysis of manufactured products.
Testing and troubleshooting of microprocessor based products
Training other technicians on processes and procedures as needed.
Qualifications
Associate's degree from a two-year college or school preferred
1+ year related experience
Intermediate Computer Skills
Soldering experience required
