Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a Software Testing and Automation Intern. In this role, you will work alongside experienced team members to develop and execute automated tests for new and existing software applications. You will gain hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, working to improve testing procedures and overall product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Write, implement, and execute automated tests based on regression or manual test plans.
• Collaborate with team members to conduct root cause analysis of defects reported by customers and increase automated test coverage.
• Work with functional testers and development teams to file and prioritize automation backlog items.
• Create, analyze, and communicate data on automated test results across various levels of the organization.
• Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
• Write efficient code to optimize testing processes and solve complex problems in a timely manner.
• Develop technical documents, instructions, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarize yourself with testing frameworks and tools used within the organization.

Education / Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Basic understanding of programming and automated testing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
