Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a Next Generation Schematics Solution Design Intern for Summer 2025. This internship offers the opportunity to work with product owners on the modernization of advanced schematics solutions, such as Smart P&ID, Smart Electrical, and Smart Instrumentation. The intern will assist in gathering business requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, and supporting the development of next-generation schematics tools used in process plants.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to help shape the vision for next-generation schematics solutions.
• Conduct research on new and existing technologies, market trends, and competitors to inform product features and development.
• Engage in tactical backlog activities, contributing to the management of product enhancements.
• Interact with customers and sales teams to define product direction and ensure alignment with market needs.
• Translate end-user requirements into business use cases that lead to technical user stories.
• Collaborate with development and scrum teams to review and approve product designs, enhancements, and quality improvements.
• Ensure that product capabilities meet customer satisfaction goals and market expectations.

Education / Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficient in creating and interpreting Process, Electrical, or Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Strong teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.
• Eager to take on challenges and recognize emerging opportunities.
