The role of Payroll Administrator is focused on delivering exceptional services in payroll administration by processing US and Canada payrolls and maintaining time and attendance. They will be responsible for supporting a high volume of employee inquiries, driving streamlined processes, ensuring data quality, time accuracy, and compliance.
The Payroll Administrator reports to the Payroll Manager, NAM, based in Andover, Massachusetts.
Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Process bi-weekly payroll for US & Canada
Manage new hires, terminations, salary changes, benefits, tax withholding, etc. via our payroll system (ADP Workforce Now)
Compile and maintain time and attendance data using Kronos Workforce Ready (US) and ADP (Canada)
Process sales commission files monthly and bonuses payments on a quarterly basis (other files as needed)
Assist with processing accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, T-2200 & TP-64, etc.).
Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations.
Responds to auditing and regulatory inquiries.
Respond to verification of employment requests and garnishment answers.
First contact for employees regarding payroll related inquiries and requests
Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal and external business partners to define and develop successful, scalable processes and practices
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
1+ years of work experience within the field of payroll preparation for a multi-location organization resolving complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues
1+ years expereince in modern tech solutions (e.g. ADP, Workforce Now, Kronos Workforce Ready, SuccessFactors)
