Volt is immediately hiring for Domestic Logistics Administrator in Long Beach, CA.
As a Domestic Logistics Administrator you will:
Preparing Bills of Lading and coordination of outbound and inbound shipping.
Develop positive relationships with freight and external logistics companies
Ownership of the Carrier confirmation communications and advising organization of potential issues
Ownership of the White Glove outbound shipment email communications to internal and external customers
Assist with White Glove appointments and email confirmation to internal and external customers
Assist with tracking of inbound and outbound freight via Power BI tool and freight carriers' website
Assist with the DomLogistics email box and processing requests
Assist with process RMA's and track
Back up trade show support
Other duties as assigned
This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 8:00am -4:30pm open to overtime.
The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a Logistics/transportation environment
Strong customer service skills
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
Pay Rate:$23.00 - 25.00 per hour
