This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You will work at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a VP/Chief Nursing Officer - American Family Children's Hospital to:

• Serve as the nursing leader for UW Health pediatric services.
• Partner with other clinical leaders to improve access, quality, safety, patient experience, productivity and efficiency of nursing practice.
• Align initiatives around the tenants of Magnet ® and participate in maintaining the organization's Magnet status.

Education:

Minimum -

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Master's degree in healthcare or hospital administration, nursing administration, business or a related discipline.

Preferred - Doctor of Nursing Practice

Work Experience:

Minimum - Seven (7) years of progressively responsible nursing management or supervisory level experience

Preferred -

• Experience with an academic medical center
• Experience working in one or more areas of the following pediatric areas: inpatient, outpatient or critical care nursing.

Certifications:

Minimum - RN license
