Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Irvine, CA that is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer - Legacy Contingent.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Cloud Engineer will work with other engineers to identify opportunities to move data and/or workloads from GCP to Azure


• Collaborate with peer engineering teams on cross functional migration projects


• Create detailed plans for migrating data and/or workloads from GCP to Azure


• The Senior Cloud Engineer will get their hands dirty by participating in migration and performing implementation tasks


• Be passionate about working with and mentoring junior engineers

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience


• 5 years of demonstrated ability working with leading public clouds


• 3 years of experience working with Azure


• Experience with Kubernetes


• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions


• Experience with ArgoCD, Terraform, Atlantis, and Vault


• Experience in migrating production systems from one public cloud to another


• Great interpersonal skills and a consistent record to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about Identity Management in Azure (Entra ID, PIM, etc.)


• Knowledgeable about Policy Management in Azure


• Knowledgeable about Azure Networking


• Passionate about documentation and training

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
