RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Staff Software Engineer to join their team.

Summary:
The main workstream is focused on their CMS and currently assisting in a massive cloud migration to GCP and off of their legacy platform named Tandem. They will be overseeing a lot of the POS as well so POS experience is a must have. They are mostly backend with Java 17, Spring boot, and hosted in GCP/Kubernetes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7-8+ years of Java experience


• Must have experience leading team members (ideally at least 5+) including mentoring, code reviews, performance conversations, etc.


• Able to lead from an architectural perspective


• Experience handling multiple workstreams


• Must also be hands-on in the code from a technical standpoint in addition to the leadership piece


• POS experience a must


• Expert in Spring boot


• Experience in Cloud (GCP preferred)


• Expert in Kubernetes and cloud concepts


• Business acumen and ability to communicate with teams in a fast-paced agile environment is important

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
