Position Description:
Installation of temporary barricades to support on stage construction projects
Installation of Themed Show Elements and components
Show Elements could consist of wood, metal, FRP, GFRC, etc.
Installation of millwork, casework, running trim and other finish carpentry components
Lays out and installs in-wall blocking as required
Fabrication of Show Elements as required
Fabrication of Show Elements to be completed within the Creative Studio at Adena’s Lakeland Campus
Installation activities will typically take place at Theme Parks or Amusement Parks
Installation activities may require 3rd shift work to meet client needs
Works with Scenic Team to support scenic finishes as required
Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment
Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
Organize and work with the carpentry team to meet goals.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform carpenter duties
10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment
Ability to read building blueprints
Ability to utilize pertinent math skills
Good knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment along with safe use of the same
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites
May be asked to travel for out-of-town projects
Ability to work at heights without fear including work on scaffolding and ladders
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust•
