Job Description Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator B will assist in the coordination of phase I-IV clinical trials in the Division of Infectious Diseases/Penn Prevention Unit. This position will support the recruitment efforts of the unit (60%) and conduct clinical research visits (40%). The CRC-B will develop recruitment strategies to poise assigned trials for enrollment success and will serve as an overall point of contact for individuals interested in ID clinical trials. The CRC-B will assist with organization of recruitment efforts using FileMaker, RedCap and other site-specific portals and attend local community-based recruitment events.
The CRC-C will be expected to perform all the above noted tasks and additionally will lead the recruitment team by overseeing social media posts, Iconnect and community-based recruitment events to ensure meeting study-specific recruitment goals.

Qualifications:
The CRC-B position requires someone with a Bachelors degree and 2-4 years of clinical/research experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. The CRC-B must be able to multi-task and use effective communication techniques in order to successfully problem solve. The CRC-B must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently and prove proficiency in following GCP guidelines.
The CRC-C position requires someone with a Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of clinical research experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. The CRC-C must be able to multi-task and use effective communication techniques in order to successfully problem solve. The CRC-C must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently and prove proficiency in following GCP guidelines.
