Job Summary:
TheManufacturing Engineer will design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to address production challenges, support new product introductions, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and costAnalyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement
Design and implement process improvements, including the use of automation and advanced manufacturing technologiesEstablish and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and standardsConduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with quality assurance teams to address quality issues and improve manufacturing practicesProvide technical support and troubleshooting for production equipment and processesWork with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtimeDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsLead or participate in projects related to process improvement, cost reduction, and new product developmentCoordinate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure project goals are metManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyEnsure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policiesPromote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and practicesConduct safety training and audits as requiredCollect and analyze data related to production performance, quality metrics, and process efficiencyPrepare and present reports to management on manufacturing performance and improvement initiativesUtilize data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvementPerforms other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be a US citizen and meet any other federal program requirementsAbility to obtain CAC Card, Secret clearance preferred.A general/working knowledge of MS Office products is required.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customer.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as CAD, CAM, and ERP systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related field requiredAt least 10+years of related experienceCombination of education and experience may be substituted for degree
