Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision of the Finance/Budget Manager, Housing & Dining Financial Services, lead and provide customer service to students, parents, guardians, faculty, staff, and the public relating to student housing and dining contracts. This position manages student information systems and performs credit control functions in relation to student housing and dining accounts, interpreting rules, policies, and procedures in relation to cash handling, customer service inquiries, and credit control. The Fiscal Analyst develops and implements new procedures as appropriate. This position computes, processes, and reconciles student housing and dining accounts. Validates that the housing and dining website meets customer needs and liaises with technical staff, prepares reports for management, and trains personnel. Performs special projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, which must include at least 18 quarter or 12 semester hours of accounting, auditing or budgeting; OR equivalent education/experience.
Experience extracting data and providing analysis using tools like Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Workday Accounting System.
Experience with People Soft Campus Solutions Student Financials (myWSU).
Demonstrated sensitivity to and experience in effectively working with diverse or multicultural populations.

Monthly Salary:
$3,477 to $4,632 | Range 40 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
