We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join our accounting team in Tampa, FL. This position provides the day-to-day supervision of the payroll functions of the Company. In addition to specific payroll processing responsibilities, the person in this position organizes, directs and distributes work among Payroll personnel to ensure that the payrolls are computed and distributed to employees on an accurate and timely basis. Also, this position prepares information for internal use by corporate personnel, tax authorities and external vendors. This position is responsible for US domestic and international payrolls, and therefore requires multi-state and international experience.

This is a hybrid position that requires to be on-site at least 2 days a week.

How will you contribute to the team?


  • Supervises, organizes, directs and distributes work among Payroll personnel to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of payroll among all locations, both US multi-state and International

  • Responsible for all aspects of ADP and Ceridian systems including upgrades and technical issues

  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all payroll documentation and reporting. Approves off-cycle check requests as required.

  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of all payrolls. Ensures all interfaces are run properly for HRMS imports and Oracle time files and are reviewed for accuracy.

  • Assists in training personnel in new/existing payroll procedures and answers any questions they may have concerning payroll procedures. Provides regular constructive feedback which contributes to an atmosphere of open communication.

  • Assists in the development of departmental practices and procedures and ensures all controls are maintained and all Payroll Procedures are documented and kept up to date

  • Works closely with the HR, Global Mobility, Accounting, Treasury and other departments concerning items related to computations and analysis, accuracy of data in the PR systems, and other payroll related matters.

  • Records all infrequent payroll adjustments and manual entries to employee payroll records, which may include relocation, travel assignments, lump-sum payments, etc. Maintains files for such data on a regular basis.

  • Works closely with internal personnel and external vendors regarding travel assignments and tax reporting requirements for the employees.

  • Assists with various requests concerning items relating to computations and analysis of personnel data.

  • Prepares ADP reporting for vendors and management as needed.

  • Supports the Payroll Clerks with employee questions and provides first level escalation assistance.

  • Performs such assignments and duties as the Supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.

What will you contribute:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration plus four years’ of payroll experience OR Associates degree plus 6 years’ payroll experience.

  • Without a degree, a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus eight years of payroll experience.

  • Ability to work under the pressure of recurring deadlines. Work beyond regular hours may be required during peak times.

  • Software systems, such as Oracle, SAP and ADP experience.

  • WorkDay software preferred.
