The Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join their team! Connected by sky bridge to the Tampa Convention Center, this all-suite hotel is close to the beaches of St. Pete and Clearwater. A complimentary made-to-order breakfast and evening reception are provided. TASTE is the onsite restaurant, offering an ingredient-driven food experience. The property also provides 10,000 sq ft of flexible meeting space for events and weddings.

Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of F&B leadership experience and a strong background in bartending. Previous hotel experience is preferred.

What will I be doing?

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you would be responsible for assisting with the direction and oversight of all Food & Beverage operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, a Food & Beverage Manager would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
