RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for a QA for an opportunity with a large organization in the downtown Kansas City area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of software quality. As a QA, you will play a crucial role in the development process by authoring, executing, and reporting on test cases, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver top-notch software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Case Authoring, Executing, and Reporting: Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases throughout the software development lifecycle. Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of test results


• Coordinating UAT: Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing efforts, working closely with end-users to validate software functionality and performance


• Testing Backend Services and Web APIs: Perform rigorous testing of backend services, web APIs, web applications, and both custom and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software to ensure reliability and performance


• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, and software engineers to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test case development and execution


• Experience with UAT coordination and execution


• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams


• Strong understanding of backend services, web APIs, and web application testing


• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in an Agile development environment


• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks


• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
