Seeking a Project Manager to join a Project Management advisory firm who provide real estate and construction consultative services to developers and owners across the DC area. Looking to connect with Project Managers who have 8+ years of mixed commercial construction projects including new build and renovation experience. Open to Project Managers working for a general contractor looking to transition into an owner's representative role or Project Managers currently working in a construction consulting position.


The position:


In the role of a Project Manager, you will be tasked with providing proactive project leadership to assigned projects to ensure the interests and expectations of the client are being met.


This position will allow you to work on a variety of mixed commercial projects as the company have fantastic relationships across multiple market sectors. These could include education, multifamily, corporate interiors, institutional and non-profit and will be a combination of new construction and interiors projects.


You will be involved in the full lifecycle of the projects from initial concept and presentation of proposals, developing project scope, schedule and financials, construction management/field visit oversights, continuous project reporting to the client and project handover.


Critical to this role is the ability foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors and other industry vendors associated to the construction projects you are managing.


You will also be working closely with senior leadership and ownership to identify new client opportunities and attend industry networking events to help develop the brand of the company.


To be successful in this position, you will need:


  • 8+ years of working for a CM or GC firm where you are taking full ownership of a project delivery. This includes contract negotiations, development of project scope and schedule and full financial responsibility.

  • Proficient understanding and expertise within commercial construction including new ground-up construction as well as renovation and interior projects across a diverse range of project types.

  • Strong business acumen tailored to the construction and real estate industry, with the ability to communicate and develop relationships with multiple vendors including brokers, end client, general contractors, subcontractors and architects.

  • Desire to be a part of a growing organization which requires hard work and tenacity for the benefit of your long-term career, as well as playing a pivotal role in the development of the company.

  • Degree in Construction, Architecture, Business or Engineering.

  • Preference for certifications in CCM or PMP, or the willingness to obtain when you join the organization.

  • Base salary evaluated on experience.
