Description: Our client is currently seeking a Associate Project Manager As the Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, budget, and timeline. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure successful project delivery. Establish methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions. Monitor and analyze project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems.
Must have 3+ years of project management experience in a food or nutraceutical environment.
Responsibilities:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. oIdentify risks and create mitigation strategies.
Identify and implement automated systems to track projects and provide real-time metrics.
Identify Product Lifecyle Management capacities.
Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
Coordinate activities across departments and stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, communicate project status to stakeholders.
Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.
Manage team members, contractors, and vendors. oIdentify and report resource constraints
Conduct regular reviews and assessments.
Implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain open communication with clients, partners, team members, and executives.
Present project updates, milestones, and results.
Celebrate project successes with the team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
PMP certification or equivalent.
3+ years of project management experience in a food or nutraceutical environment.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday, PLM systems etc).
Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-prevention/solving skills and business/financial acumen. •Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
