Program Coordinator, REIDean - Social Work

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The Program Coordinator coordinates and manages the execution of grant-funded study plans focused on improving HIV health outcomes. In collaboration with the study Principal Investigator and a cross-institutional team, the Program Coordinator supports the study plan. The study plan includes creating and maintaining the Transdisciplinary Community Partner Board, information/data collection, facilitating regular pre-defined communication with the study team and Board members through in-person, telephone, and/or mobile app technology, and in-field community work. This position assists with the development of study materials, collaborates with study stakeholders, and ensures study completion is on-time, within budget, and in compliance with funding agency reporting requirements.
The primary responsibility for this position is to communicate with study members (individuals and organizations) to ensure they are aware of any new developments in the study's status including but not limited to organizing meeting times and locations, updating the study schedule, designing, and maintaining internal team infrastructure, and ensuring that all necessary parties are aware of study deadlines. The Program Coordinator's duties also involve the day-to-day management and coordination of the study in Louisiana, ensuring all stakeholders have the resources/information they need the meet the objectives and deadlines set by the Principal Investigator(s).

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Education, or a related field.* 1 year of experience in study management.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Education, or a related field.* HIV and/or community engagement experience.* Familiarity with Institutional Review Board process.
