Manager, IOR Supply Chain

SUMMARY:

The Manager, IOR Supply Chain will oversee the supply chain operations specific to Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) projects. This role is critical in ensuring the timely procurement, logistics, and management of materials and services essential for IOR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil and gas supply chain management, with a focus on enhancing recovery efficiency while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies tailored to IOR projects, optimizing the flow of materials and services to support improved oil recovery efforts.

Operational Management: Oversee the logistics and procurement processes for IOR operations, ensuring that materials are sourced, transported, and delivered on time and within budget.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers relevant to IOR, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

Cost Management: Monitor supply chain expenditures related to IOR projects, analyzing costs and implementing strategies to achieve budgetary goals and reduce expenses.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to align supply chain activities with IOR project timelines and objectives.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all supply chain operations comply with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.

Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs specific to IOR supply chain performance, providing regular reports to senior management and recommending improvements as necessary.

Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

 REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE

 


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience (3 years) in chemical procurement and supply chain.
