Position Summary
Researches, authors, and maintains highly diverse and complex content by translating it into clear, concise, and comprehensive knowledge for the targeted audience. Collaborates with the leader and consultant to define and drive transformational knowledge & learning management strategy, goals, objectives, and initiatives across the enterprise.

The Hiring Manager will also consider candidates for Learning & Knowledge Architect II. Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Authors, reviews, and publishes complex knowledge asset documents using DITA elements and structured authoring within the content component management system (CCMS) environment from Adobe or equivalent.
Builds and maintains advanced CCMS concepts including standard and customized XML/HTML/CSS elements, DAM and reuse structures and strategies, and supports/trains knowledge architect team on best practices and standards.
Builds effective and productive SME and stakeholder relationships to facilitate information flow, determine needs analyses, collaborate on key milestone process and dates, content review processes, implementation, and collaborates with consultant to assess the measurement of knowledge management assets.
Completes assigned maintenance of knowledge asset documentation and structures according to documented SOPs. Monitors metadata for identified maintenance in partnership with consultant to ensure assets are up to date and meet organization compliance and record retention standards.
Executes established knowledge management efforts including knowledge retention and transfer, leveraging industry best practices, tooling, and process advancements to implement and support expanded knowledge management initiatives for the enterprise.
Under limited supervision, develops and maintains learning and knowledge management SOPs. Reviews and maintains the established SOPs for continuous improvement and process optimization.
Correlates the learning lifecycle to the learner experience and partners with the instructional design team to analyze, determine needs assessment and creates supporting knowledge asset documentation.
Provides guidance and mentors less experienced peers.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Business, Technical Writing, English, Education, Instructional Design or related field, plus five years' related experience, or
Associate's degree in a technical field, plus eight years' related experience, or
High school diploma, plus ten years' related experience.
Additional Experience
Expert in structured authoring, Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA), Extensible Markup Language (XML), minimalism, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and content software.
