The Project Manager will assist in the start-up and implementation of energy efficiency programs. This position is responsible for planning and tracking critical tasks to launch new programs or services. You will work across corporate departments, external partners, and utility clients to deliver on time and on budget program and service launches. You will be working with others who are passionate about energy efficiency and making a positive impact on the industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the client relationship and serve as an advocate for our client
Practice effective project management skills in leading multiple stakeholders toward common goals
Lead team of stakeholders responsible for operational support around program and service start-ups
Practice effective project management skills
Support business development and proposal department with process flows, Gantt charts, and start-up content
Support contracting process and scope of work development
Manage start-up budget and forecast staffing requirements and expenses
Prepare and actively manage start-up project plans that meet or exceed company best practices, client expectations and scope of work requirements
Incorporate "best practice" methods of energy efficiency, demand response, electric vehicle services and renewable energy program implementation
Provide interim program management for programs across all service territory, as needed
Prepare activity reports as required to the client, partner or Franklin Energy management by the requested due date
Be a positive role model and voice of the department, effectively communicate with area stakeholders
Ensure continuous improvement of operations year after year
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering, or other discipline
Advanced degree - Preferred
Proficiency in financial management
Five or more years of experience in the energy industry
Experience in lighting, HVAC, and other technologies; including energy weatherization and air sealing service for multifamily programs
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload
Ability to identify and resolve project application issues with customers and trade allies
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and employees
Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems
Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios
Reliable transportation
Licenses & Certifications

Willingness to travel up 15% of the time
Estimated Range: $90,000 - 115,000/Annually +
