We are hiring experienced Water and Sewer Foreman to assist in the repair, maintenance, construction, installation and reconditioning of natural gas, sewer, and water pipelines between Colorado Springs and Pueblo, CO and its surrounding areas.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge in underground utility construction.
  • Perform the following work: sewer and water pipe installation, natural gas distribution, telecommunications conduit and cable installation, excavation and dirt site development, or other underground infrastructure tasks.
  • Read, interpret, and work from drawings and specifications, including completing as-builts for work performed.
  • Understand and interpret grade stakes in elevation and tenths; proficient in shooting grade using a transit level.
  • Effectively interact with customers, field engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule manpower, materials, equipment, and tools for projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed productively, profitably, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Supervise a team of 1-8 individuals, working independently or semi-independently.
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to address challenges.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current driver's license with good driving record.
  • Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
  • Professional or personal use of hand tools.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with the public, customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Travel throughout the state and respond to emergency situations.
  • Minimum of OSHA 10-Hour Course
  • Ability to read and understand engineered drawings, specs, and survey
  • 3+ years of experience installation of water and sewer piping.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • 3+ years field work experience at Miller Pipeline.

Pay Rate Range: $35.72-$37.20 an hour
