Position: HACCP Technician



Reporting to: Production Supervisor



Location: Hutchinson, KS



Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30PM - 12AM, weekends as needed


This position pays $23.20/hour and is paid weekly!

This facility is part of our Prepared Foods business unit and manufactures Pepperoni.



Summary:



This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action, when necessary, alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify segregate isolate non-conforming product and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.



REQUIREMENTS:



• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats/ Prepared Foods industry required or other QA type experience.


• Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problem identification and problem-solving skills; math and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed.


• Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting 70 lbs. or more.

• Work Schedule: M-F, 2:30PM - 12AM


• This role is on-site at our Hutchinson Plant in South Hutchinson, KS.
