We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our People & Culture - People Data and Systems team for an SAP Operations Specialist based out of our Baltimore office in a remote capacity.


CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.


This position will support our People & Culture - People Data and Systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all operational business processes tasks in SAP, Replicon, and sFTP. This role involves coordinating with various departments to manage the workflow of daily activities following very detailed end to end business processes, SOPs, and service level agreements.


We are searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to budget planning across all departments. The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail. The Operations Specialist should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks.

YOUR ROLE.



The purpose of this position is to:


  • Optimize daily activities and performance of the business across the board.

  • Follow and uphold department-wide quality control measures and recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations.

  • Maintain communication with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points.

  • Assist with planning, and coordinating operational activities with offshore resources, and adherence to well-established instructional design procedures.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Engage across multiple stakeholder groups and management levels to evolve and maintain integration of our processes and drive changes in technology, to support organization/process/data integration as well as deliver positive user experience.

  • Drive advocacy and education around the value of end-to-end integrated and future on-going processes, and enabled offerings

  • Problem solving with a solution driven mindset.

Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary, and the ability to communicate with employees to adhere to standard operating procedure. The object of this role is as follows:


  • Project Setup Intake and import data into SAP.

  • Assign appropriate owners to various task using a detail standard operational procedure and workflow structure.

  • Ability to learn and work in sFTP environment, with .csv file conversion with macro functionality.

  • Set up bill rates in SAP and the ability to work through workflow structure.

  • Creating and maintaining bill rates and conditional bill rates in SAP.

  • Maintain SAP project assignments in SAP, where applicable.

  • Maintaining approver setups in Replicon.

  • Assign Resources in Replicon for time and material projects.

  • Assist Government Advisory with reporting, extracting data from SAP and uploading to Unanet.

  • Add and maintain subcontractors and cost rates in SAP.

  • Comparing subcontractor time entry to subcontractor invoices prior to paying subk invoices.

  • On-going SAP project set up maintenance (adding to billing in SAP).

  • Collaborate and work with offshore resources to organize responsibilities and roles of daily tasks.

Other Requirements:


  • A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary as the role is required to work effectively across multiple time zones.

  • As this role is remote, the individual must be comfortable with Microsoft Teams and various meeting tools.

  • Experience with creating successful and productive high level working relationships as a means of driving strategy, processes, and tasks through quality completion.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the internal and external business environment. Knowing the business, is essential to be successful in this role.

  • Aptitude toward or experience with supporting change management principles and associated activities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Executive presence and the ability to influence outcomes to support our firm objectives.


YOUR EXPERIENCE.




The successful candidate will have:



  • At a minimum, you have an associate degree in accounting, finance, computer science or information technology, with 2 years related experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Several years of work experience in operations management or a related area is valuable.

  • Candidates who do well in this position tend to work well under pressure and are able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

  • A proactive approach to technology and innovation, understanding of industry-specific regulations and the ability to implement sustainable and efficient operations practices.

  • You must be tech-savvy and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Can do attitude with a keen eye to "big picture" thinking.

  • Adapts and drive change with influence positively.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills are also highly valued.

  • Strong written and verbal communications.

  • Must have experience with all Microsoft applications.

  • SAP experience a plus, not necessary.

  • ProFinda experience is a plus, not necessary.
