Job Description:

Ledgent is partnering with a well-known manufacturing company in the North-Metro, adding an Accountant to their team. This role is open due to promotion and offers competitive compensation (up to $75,000/annually), has a great team culture, and likes to promote within. This is fully on-site M-F, during regular business hours.



Summary:



  • We have an exciting new opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team! In this role, you will provide essential accounting support aligned with GAAP principles. Your responsibilities will include business analytics, reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset management, and assisting with budget preparation. Strong accounting and analytical skills will be key as you collaborate with management across all levels.



Job Duties/Description:



  • You will handle ad hoc analysis, reporting on sales, inventory, and expenses, while utilizing reporting tools to interpret data and provide recommendations. You will be responsible for posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining fixed asset records. Additionally, you will assist in the budgeting process, compliance tasks, and cross-train with other accounting functions.




Requirements:



  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting (required)

  • 2+ years of experience in: A/P, A/R, or General Accounting

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Comfortable working on-site
