JOB DESCRIPTION



Wood is seeking an "Expression of Interest" for an LNG Terminal Site Manager. This would be a long-term operations and maintenance project located in Brownsville, TX The LNG Terminal Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance activities at the LNG terminal. This role ensures that all processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The Site Manager will be the focal point for various activities, managing the relationship with the Owner and ensuring smooth transitions from Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Operational phases.



RESPONSIBILITIES



Key Responsibilities:


  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the LNG terminal, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

  • Maintenance Supervision: Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technicians and operators, providing training and support as needed.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations and maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on terminal performance, maintenance activities, and safety compliance.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Contract Management: Responsible for overall delivery of the contract and management of the relationship with the Owner.

  • Transition Management: Manage the transition from Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Operational phases as per the published plan/schedule.

  • Site Representation: Act as the point of contact for day-to-day issues as the Site Owner Representative.

  • Process Implementation: Implement all contractor processes relevant to RGLNG.

  • HR and Payroll: Accountable for personnel payroll and HR issues.

  • Internal Communications: Deliver internal contractor communications.

  • Training and Competency: Ensure personnel training and competency compliance.

  • Mobilization/Demobilization: Manage the mobilization and demobilization of contractor plant and equipment.

  • Dispute Resolution: Handle dispute resolution within the contractor's organization.

  • Incident Management: Investigate incidents, take actions, and ensure ownership for contractor personnel.

  • KPI Delivery: Ensure the delivery of agreed KPIs.

  • Supply Management: Ensure the supply of all contractor-provided items in Appendix C when required and in acceptable condition.

  • Coordination: Coordinate site personnel, third-party contractors, and contractor equipment and servicing requirements.





QUALIFICATIONS



Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: 10+ years managing maintenance service contracts in LNG terminal operations or a similar industrial setting.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in safety and operations management are preferred.

Working Conditions:


  • Environment: Work primarily at the LNG terminal site, with some office work.

  • Hours: Full-time position, may require occasional overtime or on-call duties.
