Major/Essential Functions




  • Represents TTUHSC School of Health Professions to prospective students, current students, staff, and faculty to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals.




  • Demonstrate experience managing multiple, diverse projects simultaneously




  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, organization, collaboration, and flexibility.




  • Prepare and maintain individualized degree plans for HML students utilizing DegreeWorks for the Healthcare Management and Leadership department.




  • Process add/drop, withdrawal, and leave of absence requests while supporting SHP enrollment and retention initiatives.




  • Provide advising and student engagement outreach for all HML students, fostering valuable and supportive relationships.




  • Advise students on academic progressions for the Healthcare Management and Leadership department.




  • Assist students in identifying appropriate SHP and institutional resources.




  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of every student advising interaction using various digital resources and information management systems.




  • Stay current on HML program requirements, course offerings, important dates, SHP, and institutional educational resources.




  • Assist with Banner and Xtender Tasks to include, digital imaging and indexing.




  • Assist with SHP Enrollment Management tasks.




  • Assist in answering phones and fielding questions about the School of Health Professions.




  • Maintain strict confidentiality for applicants, current students, faculty and staff.




  • Assist with School of Health Professions special events.




  • Maintain the ability to work well with co-workers, faculty, staff, and students, provide excellent customer service and multitask with ease.




  • Support new HML student engagement and enrollment management initiatives.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the University and SHP by performing other duties as assigned.
