Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Go Developer with a strong background in payments technologies, including fleet cards, card on file, tokenization, wallets, and text-to-pay solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable applications hosted on Google Cloud. This role requires active participation in agile ceremonies, especially during refinements and standups, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative payment solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards.
Pick up and manage Jira stories, translating user requirements into actionable tasks and delivering high-quality code in a timely manner.
Participate in design sessions, performing thorough requirements analysis and providing accurate estimations for work effort.
Drive various forms of testing, including regression, unit, and load testing, to ensure application reliability and performance.
Maintain well-written API documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date with new product features and changes.
Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Identify risks associated with high-priority operational issues and develop effective mitigation plans to address them.
Technologies:
Proficient in Golang and PostgreSQL, with a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures.
Experience working with APIs; familiarity with React is a plus.
Previous experience with payment devices is a significant advantage.
