Job Description

Hoefer Welker is seeking a qualified REVIT Project Manager within our Healthcare Practice Group’s medical equipment and technology consulting service (Clinical Technology Solutions). The REVIT Project Manager will provide specialized support for developing and managing medical equipment REVIT layout drawings for new healthcare projects. This position will manage and provide REVIT medical equipment layouts for projects. The BIM Project Manager will work to improve the efficiency of BIM efforts for CTS project by implementing firm-wide BIM standards and workflows. Experience and proficiency using Revit, manipulating Revit families, knowledge of medical equipment and clinical spaces, and experience coordinating with architectural design teams is essential.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Project Manager for CTS projects requiring Revit medical equipment layouts and coordination.
  • Work as part of CTS project teams to provide detailed medical equipment layouts for projects, to include, but not limited to, initial equipment layouts and on-going modifications during architectural design phases.
  • Communicate with internal and external architectural design teams to coordinate Revit models and the delivery of medical equipment layouts.
  • Manage CTS Revit equipment family library and coordinate within the firm-wide Revit library.
  • Support and coordinate with firm-wide BIM Manager to maintain BIM standards.
  • Provide Revit training and support to in-house CTS project team members.

Job Requiremetns

Education/Experience: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Drafting and Design program preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years using AutoDesk BIM 360.
  • Minimum 5 years working in healthcare planning/design/construction industry.
  • Experience developing REVIT families preferred, but not required.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Revit/AutoDesk certification is beneficial. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.

Qualifications/Skills: Candidate must be proficient in REVIT, Microsoft Office, Blue Beam. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, strong written and oral communication skills and meet deadlines. Quality and customer service focus a must. Knowledge and understanding of healthcare clinic spaces and medical equipment planning.   • Advanced knowledge and ability to provide technical support for Revit, AutoCAD, and all related BIM & CAD software

  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Team player who is detail oriented, possesses strong communication and problem solving skills and who enjoys working un a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
