This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule.

Tessco is currently seeking an ambitious, motivated Jr. Graphic Designer to join our team in the Baltimore, Maryland metro area. Our ideal candidate is driven to provide excellent design work throughout the design process, from concept development to final execution. They should also be comfortable collaborating with other designers, writers, product managers, and other stakeholders, both internal and external. Responsibilities:

Support the Tessco Creative Design Team in the conception, creation, and execution of:

• High-quality branded design solutions for print and digital applications including email marketing, ad campaigns, brochures, manuals, large-scale events, social media, web, and more.
• PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
• Style guides for overall brand consistency and adherence.
• Branded templates for everyday use.
• Editing and proofreading materials to ensure adherence to preferred styles and standards.
• Internal and external communications for Tessco and our manufacturer partner brands.
• Original design concepts, logos, and/or lockups for new/recurring Tessco brands and events.

Core Qualifications

• BA in Graphic Design or relevant field of study.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented office environment.
• Prior graphic design and/or marketing experience a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellent design skills across print and digital applications.
• Technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility/ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of current design trends, methods, and techniques with an awareness of how they can be applied to best serve the intended audience.
• Ability to plan concepts by studying provided information and materials.
• Strong organization skills.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Ability to accept and execute feedback on deliverables.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects based on urgency.

Additional desired skills, if possible:

• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Word, including developing and working with templates and masters.
• Strong storytelling experience, able to take complicated subject matter and make it applicable to all audiences.
• Some experience using Premiere, After Effects, Dreamweaver a plus.
• Some experience with photography and/or videography a plus.
